Rebecca Mason is a serving detective with Surrey Police. She is highly sought after as a TV and media expert on all things fraud and police related due to her wealth of experience.

After joining the police in 2010 Rebecca soon moved to CID dealing with serious criminality including kidnaps, assaults, drug dealers and domestic violence before moving to the specialist Economic Crime unit where she currently investigates complex financial crime and romance fraud. She also has the accolade of securing the UK's first romance fraud conviction, for which she was commended by the Judge for her diligence and investigation prowess.

Rebecca is a highly experienced on screen TV expert and presenter and has worked on a multitude of TV series including W's Red Flag and BBC One's Morning Live, For Love or Money, Moment Of Proof, Crime Squad Special Ops and Ill Gotten Gains as the go-to expert in romance fraud. She is in demand for other crime items due to her level of knowledge and expertise of crime across the board.

Rebecca has also been one of the regular ground hunters of the popular Channel 4 series Hunted and Celebrity Hunted since 2017, showing how she has a true ability to literally track anyone down.
