With over 28 years' experience, Charlotte Tilbury has distinguished herself as a true creative visionary and innovator. She has revolutionised the face of the global beauty industry by decoding her expertise into transformative makeup tricks and tools that are easy to use, easy to choose and easy to shop, for everyone at every age.

Charlotte believes that everyone deserves to look and feel like the most beautiful version of themselves every day through the power of makeup. Today, Charlotte is one of the UK's most famous makeup industry exports and continues to push boundaries with her award-winning, record-breaking, universally-loved makeup and skincare brand Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, which has won over 390 awards to date.

Her passion for makeup started when she was just 13 years old, through her first discovery of mascara. Ever since then she has been a passionate advocate of the power of makeup to transform not only a woman's features but also her confidence and outlook. Born in London and raised in Ibiza, Charlotte grew up surrounded by inspiring artists, musicians, actors and writers. During this time Charlotte met the inspirational make-up artist Mary Greenwell, who encouraged her to train at the Glauca Rossi School of Make-Up.

The makeup artist-turned-entrepreneur began her career in the 1990s, the era of the supermodels, and has created cover looks for the world's biggest fashion magazines. She has worked on over 100 Vogue covers and is the only makeup artist to have had three simultaneous Vogue covers for the US, British and French editions in September 2011. In July 2017 Charlotte was announced as a Contributing Editor of British Vogue.

Charlotte has worked on beauty campaigns for the biggest luxury fashion houses, from Fendi to Prada, and collaborated with the industry's most well-regarded photographers, from Mert & Marcus to Mario Testino.

Before starting Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, Charlotte worked with industry leaders to create best-selling products and to launch entire beauty lines, leading creative product development for brands including Helena Rubenstein, MAC, Armani, Burberry and Tom Ford.

Having worked up to 40 shows a season, Charlotte has started trends on the runways of New York, Milan, Paris and London, acting as show makeup director for brands such as Prada, Miu Miu, McQueen, Cavalli, Lanvin and Chloe among many others.

Charlotte has received numerous personal accolades for her influential work, including:
- Fashion Creator at the British Fashion Awards in 2005
- Winner of MAC Salutes Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Fashion and Beauty industry in 2009
- Recipient of the everywoman Ambassador Award at the NatWest everywoman Awards in 2017
- CEW Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019

In November 2018 Charlotte was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty The Queen, for services to the beauty and cosmetics industry.
